Procedure of RR Crown

After registering for this, the bride and groom’s head circumference is measured on the most auspicious day. Within 15 days of taking measurements, the bridal crown is crafted from copper metal by our sculptors. Our sculptors who create this crown observe a 15-day fast and create beautiful crowns with great devotion and meticulous craftsmanship.The crown thus created is plated with pure gold or silver, depending on the wishes of their parents, and is prepared for the pooja. The created crowns are anointed with pure rose water and placed in the ancient Sri Shiva Meenakshi temple for worship in the name of the bride and groom.After this procedure is completed, similar worship is performed at the Sri Perumal Padmavati Thayar temple and then at the Sri Subramaniar Swamy temple. After this, the crowns are brought to the wedding hall with due respect and devotion.

Methods of worship for the crown at the wedding hall

The Bridal Crowns are brought to the wedding venue the night before. Acharyas belonging to the Sri Dattatreya – Sri Parasurama Guru Lineage will draw 6 feet by 6 feet Sri Chakra out of herbal powders which is using in the Guru Traditional. After that the following rituals and worships are performed

On the right side of Sri Chakra, Maha Ganapathi and on the left side Sri Dattatreya are invoked in the two lamps separately.

2. The Dasha Mahavidya Devis are invoked in 10 Kalasha around the Sri Chakra and Main Deity towards the Ten directions. (i.e., East, South East, South, South West, West, North West, North, North East, Sky and Earth. Here Sky reflect the South Direction and the Earth reflects the North Direction). These Dhasamaha Vidhya Devis are worshiped with their powerful moola mantras.

4. Then Poojas and mantra worship are done to the nine Avaranas (Navavarna) located in Sri Chakra. The special rituals are doing for Thithi Nithyas who are the important in Navavarna. Here after, special Poojas are offered to the presiding deity Sri Kameshwaran and Sri Kameshwari. . One of the two Crowns placed here is worshiped as Sri Kameshwaran and the other as Sri Kameshwari.

About 64 Crore deities are residing in the Navavarna. Especially Thithi Nithyas are residing around the Main Deity. These Thithi Nithyas are most important in every human life.
The Crowns are worshiped by 5 types of flowers and with chanting of Sri Suktham, Surya Sukatham, Agni Suktham, Indrakshi Suktham, Dasamaha Vidhya Stotrams and etc., continuesly for 6 Hours.

3. The 16 faces lamp is decorated with 5 types of flowers in an Ancient Traditional way and placed as the main Deity. The bridal Crowns are placed at the feet of the pedestal of Sri Kameshwaran Sri Kameshwari, the main deity. This preeminent deity is invoked as Sri Kameshwaran and Sri Kameshwari through Vedic mantras

5. After completion of the above Poojas, the sacred water from the energized Kalashas of the Dhasa Mahavidhyas is poured over both the Crowns through the Mahavishnu Conch and is energized. Due to this, the Crowns acquire all the above powers.

6. After this divine process, the Crowns are kept in handcrafted sacred wooden box.

The ceremonial of wearing crowns

The two Crowns, endowed with divine power, are handed over to the parents of Bride and Groom with Ancient Royal Honors that very night.

The Parents of the Bride and Groom will Crown their Children with their own hands at an Auspicious time. This ritual can also be performed during the engagement ceremony. Otherwise, Crowns can be worn before the Kanyadhanam.

AFTER THIS BEAUTIFUL AND AUSPICIOUS TIME, THE BRIDE AND GROOM BEGIN THEIR LIVES AS KING AND QUEEN.

When should this wearing crowns ?

After that, on Auspicious days like important Family Events, Festivals, and Wedding Anniversaries, both Husband and Wife should wear Crowns for two minutes in the morning and worship God. When Deity’s gaze falls on them, they will live lifelong of great honour, like King and Queen, forever. In some families, every Friday morning or evening, both Husband and Wife wear Crowns and worship the Deity

No matter how you lived before, from now on you and your Family will live like a Royal Kingdom. These Crowns brought by you will now bestow blessings on your future generations. It is a matter of great pride that you are giving a divine gift of wealth to your Heirs and Descendants.
